This just in: “Mewsday”, which had been devoted to cat news, is now moving over into the “Caturday Weekly Review” slot, which will now feature cats in the news over the week every Saturday. This means on Tuesday the NEW Mewsday will feature a post related to making your cat happy— like a give away/product/or something that us cats will enjoy. Of course, I’ll keep a healthy sprinkling of all sorts of other cat related wonderousness in the Daily Moosh over the course of the week.

While I found the concept of this service to be somewhat humorous, if you know of anyone who has difficulty getting out of the house or lifting heavy things, maybe a Boxiecat service could benefit them.
In other news, the above pretty kitty was recovered from an engine compartment of a van after traveling from Mill Valley to Santa Cruz (California) wearing nothing but a blue studded collar with a blue bell, that harlot!
No, but for serious. Go get micro-chipped because this girl currently is being held by the The Marin Humane Society because no owner has been identified. In about a week, she will go up for adoption. You can read the full story here.
This week in the news, a cat from Boston named Sugar decided it would be a good idea to pretend she was a flying squirrel from a 19 story high rise. Miraculously Sugar survived, in part thanks to the stupid idea that made her leap from the window in the first place: spreading her non-existent flying squirrel wings. Fortunately, since us kitties are so anatomically superior to other species, she walked away from the incident with no injuries… besides the bruised lungs. Owww.
